Well I did it. Went a whole day without gluten, dairy, or sugars. Wasn't too bad actually until I got home and wanted to snack before dinner.
I started off the day at 5:30 this morning. Drank my water, ate my fueling breakfast (2 eggs, 2 bacon, and 1/2 avocado). I waited an hour before doing the workout. The workout for the day was an ab work out and I surprisingly got through the whole thing this morning.
The rest of the day went pretty well. Something I did notice was that my energy did not vacillate throughout the day. That was nice. Lunch was not my favorite... tune and an avocado and 1/2 apple. Might not do that combo again but I was full after.
Tonight we had chicken with sauteed onions and spinach. Was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. It was an ok meal, we decided we need like a George Forman grill for cooking chicken.
My stomach does feel a little weird but I can't tell if it is the food or the ab workout I did today. We'll find out I guess.
Overall it was a strong day one.
